About
Briana Lyon is an artist, designer and fine art consultant who lives in Los Gatos, California. Born and raised in greater Los Angeles, her artwork has been shown throughout Canada and the United States. Ms. Lyon has a formal education in Art History from the University of British Columbia and consults for Art Experts Inc. She has been painting since age 3.
Briana was honored to be awarded a Visual Artist's Residency from the prestigious Banff Center in 2013. Another celebrated accomplishment includes her work for premiere Canadian artist Gordon Halloran on "Ice Gate 2010" for the Vancouver Winter Olympic games. This 1,000 sq.ft. piece of abstract ice art was seen by millions in person and on Discovery Channel's Daily Planet.
Briana was a long time participant in the East Van Artist's Collective of Mount Pleasant, Vancouver, which has spawned such inspiring projects as Disabled and Dangerous the movie, Glass Magpie apparel, Inkspoon apparel and the Wild Things collaborative design studio. She also participated in the startup of Vancouver's OCW Magazine, serving as Art Director in 2009.
