Briana Lyon blends Chinese literati basics with bold colors, Impressionist, Expressionist and Pop art elements. Her imagery covers landscapes both internal and external. She pushes boundaries of synthetic and natural materials using a uniquely female voice. The artist was born and raised in greater Los Angeles. She splits her life between her home state and British Columbia. 
From abstract to figurative, Chinese to en plein aire and Avant Garde Briana Lyon executes many painting styles. She has focused on landscape and abstract the last decade and is now developing a new emphasis on figurative painting.
