Touch PlantsJanuary-March, 2020A photography project with nature in the foreground. Touch Plants documents the wildflower blossoms and dry gardens of Southern California intertwined with human respect and intimacy. The plants touched are priceless.
The wild lilac fields of the Santa Monica mountains and Los National Forest, the buckwheat speckled slopes of North Orange County, the cactus sanctuaries of Palm Springs, the heady sage and sugarbush chaparral of Glendale. Each carefully scouted ecological setting displaying the native or food producing plants best adapted for sustainable low-maintenance gardens in urban and residential communities of Southern California. |
